Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy explains what happens to the money you commit on LockIn. Please read it before you pay.
How your fund moves
- You pay your commitment fund through Razorpay. LockIn holds it while your program runs.
- Every check-in you complete releases a share of the fund into your LockIn wallet.
- If you miss more days than your plan's grace days allow, the share tied to each extra missed check-in is not released and is retained by LockIn to run the program. This is the cost of the commitment and is not refundable.
- Released money is yours and does not expire.
Cancelling a program
A commitment fund is a commitment, so a plan cannot be cancelled for a full refund once it has started. If you stop checking in, the unreleased part of the fund is retained as described above.
When we will refund you
- Duplicate or failed payments: if you were charged more than once, or charged but your plan was not created, we will refund the affected amount in full.
- Technical fault on our side: if a bug or outage prevented you from checking in and this is confirmed, we will credit the affected check-ins or refund the affected share.
- Before your first day: if you contact us before your plan's first check-in day begins, we will review a request to cancel and refund the fund in full.
Refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay and normally reach you within 5 to 7 working days of approval, depending on your bank. To request one, email support@getlockin.co.in with your registered email and the payment reference.
Withdrawals to UPI
- You can withdraw released money to your UPI ID when you have no active program. There is no minimum amount.
- Withdrawals are reviewed and paid manually, usually within 2–3 working days. A request shows as pending until it is paid.
- If a withdrawal cannot be paid (for example a wrong UPI ID) it is rejected and the amount returns to your wallet balance so you can try again.
- We may hold a withdrawal for review if we suspect fraud or abuse.
Rollover
At the end of a program you may roll your released money into a new program instead of withdrawing. Rolling over is your choice.
