What happens on LockIn when you miss a day
Grace days, what counts as a miss, and where the money goes. Plain language, no fine print.
Everyone misses days. A tool that punishes one bad Tuesday as hard as quitting would be both unkind and unhelpful, so LockIn plans for it.
Grace days
Every plan includes grace days on top of its check-in days. For example, a 30-day plan has 30 check-in days worth an equal share each, plus 4 grace days. Miss a day inside those grace days and it costs you nothing.
Beyond the slack
If you miss more days than the plan allows, the share of the fund tied to each missed check-in is not earned back. It is kept by LockIn to run the program. This is the cost of the commitment, and it is the reason the commitment means anything.
The money you earn back is yours
What you have already earned back stays in your LockIn wallet. Once the program it came from has ended you can withdraw it to your UPI ID, or roll it into your next program, even if another program is running. Withdrawals are reviewed and paid manually, usually within 2–3 working days.
What it is not
LockIn is not a contest and there is no luck in it. Nobody else wins your money, and nothing is paid out to other users. Your outcome depends only on your own check-ins.
